“Another Great Week” Newsletter from Principal Ferguson

Dear Lancer Families,

On Friday, We gathered as a whole school for the Stations of the Cross.  The stations are a reminder of Jesus’s last day on earth starting with His condemnation and ending with His crucifixion.  Also, our 8th graders participated in their Confirmation Retreat led by Dr. Terry Nelson-Johnson.  This retreat is an important part of the students’ journey towards their Confirmation in May.

As we prepare for next school year, we have made the final adjustments to the 2024-2025 School Calendar which is posted below in the Announcements Section.

  • A letter from Mr. Farmer...

Lancer Basketball Enthusiasts, I am excited to have the opportunity to resume basketball camps this summer at St. Michael’s School. I will be offering camps for current 3rd through current 7th grade boys and girls.

Each camp will run Monday through Friday for 90 minutes per day. The cost of the camp is $100 with half of that cost going directly to St. Michael School. For practical purposes, each camp will be limited to a maximum of 20 players. Camps will consist of drills, contests, and scrimmages.

Over the years I have had the pleasure of coaching many basketball teams through both the Wheaton Park District and St. Michael’s School. I have coached many boys, girls, and co-ed teams.

This will be an excellent opportunity for your children to play basketball with their classmates at an extremely convenient location while helping raise money for St. Michael School. Please remember to sign up quickly as camps will have a maximum of 20 players.

Camps will be run at the following dates and times:

    June 3 – June 7 (Monday – Friday)

    Current 3rd and 4th grade girls @8:30-10:00

    Current 5th and 6th grade girls @10:30-12:00
