AGW 10/3
Dear Lancer Families,
What a week it’s been at SMPS! Our halls have been filled with energy, learning, and celebration:
We honored our Patron Saint with a joyful celebration.
Junior High welcomed several High School visitors to help guide their next steps.
Staley the Bear brought excitement as he taught us about his “4 Downs to Healthy Habits.”
Apple Days in Kindergarten had our youngest learners exploring, tasting, and creating with apples.
Buddy activities brought smiles as students connected across grade levels.
Thanks to the incredible success of the Lancer Dash, students enjoyed an extra recess reward!
We also made time to practice all of our emergency drills, ensuring we’re always prepared and safe.
And to top it all off, we end the week with our FINAL 8th Grade Friday Night Spikes event—celebrating our 8th graders as they take the court for their last volleyball game in Cashin Gym. Come cheer our volleyball teams on to victory! We’ll have pizza and concessions available, with 4 games starting at 5:30 PM. It’s the perfect way to wrap up a special week at St. Michael!
LUNCH Reminders: We’ve noticed an increase in lunches being dropped off from services like Uber Eats and DoorDash, many of which include soda or other sugary drinks. As a reminder: Please do not include drinks in lunches that are dropped off. While we understand that emergencies happen, for safety reasons, we strongly discourage outside delivery services from bringing lunches to school. We appreciate your support in keeping our students healthy and ensuring a safe school environment.
PT Conferences: To clarify, ALL PT Conferences will be held in person with your child’s classroom teacher in their specific classroom (Grades K-5). Conferences for Jr. High (6-8) will be held down in the Parish Center (Cafeteria).
Make it a great day, Lancers!
