Who is eligible for MiniShine?

MiniShine is a performance focused, show choir experience for students in grades K-1. Early Sign-Up will be offered to siblings of Shine, Jr. and SHINE! students through January 12th.

Is there a maximum or minimum number of participants?

The maximum number of performers is 30. If there are more than 30 registrants, a waiting list will be formed. Space is limited, so don’t wait! Register today!

When are Rehearsals?

  • Regular Rehearsals: Mondays, 2:15-3:15pm, starting January 26. Rehearsals will be held in the Library, adjacent to the Shine, Jr. program in the Music Room.

  • Rehearsal Dates: 1/26, 2/2, 2/9, 2/23, 3/2, 3/9, 3/16 (No school = No rehearsal!)

When are Performances?

  • SPRING CONCERT: Wednesday, March 18 at 6:30pm (features SHINE!, SHINE! Jr, MiniSHINE!)*

  • *Concert location TBD

Who leads MiniShine?

  • MiniShine is taught by Liz Hilsabeck and Alexa Petrando. It is offered as part of the group of SHINE! Show Choirs run and directed by Julie Petrando.

Tuition

Tuition Details

  • $250 total fees. Includes MiniShine t-shirt.

  • Payment Options:

    • Full Tuition paid by January 20 via Zelle using Mrs. Petrando’s email: jpetrando@stmichaelcommunity.org

    • Full Tuition paid by January 20 via cash/check (payable to SHINE LLC) in a marked envelope to the main office.

    • 2 Split Payments: pay $125 by January 20 via Zelle or cash/check (payable to SHINE LLC), and then the remaining $125 by February 20.

    • By signing up, you are committing to the full payment of $250 and understand payment is due by January 20 (or split payments 1/20 & 2/20) or when all spots are filled (knowing the option to pay in installments requires you still to pay the full amount).
