AGW 1/16
Dear Lancer Families,
You will be receiving (if you haven’t already) a diocese-wide email from the Diocese of Joliet Catholic Schools Office inviting all Catholic school families and employees to participate in the School Effectiveness Survey. This survey is distributed every few years and provides valuable data that helps schools identify strengths and areas for growth.
The feedback gathered through this survey is an especially helpful tool in understanding the collective experiences and perspectives of our St. Michael community. As with any data collection, the results are most meaningful when there is strong participation. We strongly encourage all families and staff to take a few minutes to complete the survey when it arrives. Both parents in each family will receive the link, but the system will only allow ONE response per household.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership as we work to grow and strengthen St. Michael School together.
Make it a GREAT day, Lancers!
Adam Ferguson
Principal

Help feed kids and save lives! In an effort to serve those in need, the fourth grade will be collecting donations for Feed My Starving Children during Catholic Schools Week. We will be positioning two large collection jars in the school. One jar will be located at Door 1 and the other at Door 4. Each morning, as students enter the school, they can conveniently drop off any loose change they may have in either of these containers. The fourth graders will count the money each day and keep a running total of all donations. If anyone wishes to donate any larger bills or write a check at any time, there will be a special container for these next to the main jars each day. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
Collection Schedule:
Monday, Jan. 26 – Pennies
Tuesday, Jan. 27 – Nickels
Wednesday, Jan. 28 – Dimes
Thursday, Jan. 29 – Quarters
Friday, Jan. 30 – Dollars
Thank you for helping us fulfill FMSC’s mission of feeding “God’s starving children hungry in body and spirit.”
