AGW 3/13
Dear Lancer Families,
It was another great week—longer than we’re used to—but we survived! It’s crazy to think that six years ago today… also on Friday the 13th, I was sitting here writing a message about school being canceled for two weeks. Of course, we all know how that turned out! It’s amazing to look back and realize how much we’ve all been through together since then, and how grateful we are to be together each day here at St. Michael.
This week we hosted a very successful Book Fair. It was wonderful to see the excitement around reading throughout the school. A big thank you goes out to the many volunteers who gave their time to help make the week run smoothly, as well as to the SMPO for organizing and supporting the event. Opportunities like this truly enrich the experience for our students, and we are grateful for the strong support from our parent community.
Saturday evening our parish will celebrate a special milestone as we mark the 20th anniversary of the reopening of the church. There will be a special 5:00pm Mass, followed by a celebration in the gym with food, drinks, and entertainment. It promises to be a wonderful evening for our parish community to gather, celebrate, and give thanks.
This weekend also begins our three-day Parish Mission, titled “Holiness and Mission in the Middle of the World: The Lay Vocation,” presented by Peter Andrastek. Parish missions are always a great opportunity for reflection and spiritual renewal during the Lenten season. Please be sure to check the church bulletin for the full schedule and additional details.
Finally, a reminder that next Friday will be our second Fish Fry of the Lenten season, taking place from 5:00–7:00pm in the Parish Center. These evenings are always a great opportunity for fellowship within our parish and school community, and we hope to see many of you there.
Thank you for your continued support of our school and parish. Have a wonderful weekend!
Make it a GREAT day, Lancers!

School Calendar: The much anticipated 2026–2027 School Calendar is now available for viewing! Please click this LINK to access the full calendar and begin planning for the upcoming school year. As we do each year, we work hard to align our calendar with District 200 whenever possible to help limit the number of “No Bus Days” for our families. We also make every effort to stay in sync with other local Catholic High Schools, recognizing that many families have older children attending those schools. We hope this early release helps your family plan ahead for the year!
💬 Reminder! Order hot lunch! New students will need an ID number to complete the order. For your student’s meal order ID number, log into FACTS and click Resource Documents under School. Scroll down to: My Meal Order 25-26 students.
