AGW 10/31
Dear Lancer Families,
We had another amazingly GREAT week at SMPS filled with fun activities and excitement. A huge thank you to all the moms and dads who helped with our Halloween parties…whether you dropped off supplies and treats or came to school to help orchestrate the Halloween Madness at the class parties, your support and generosity are very much appreciated. All the Kindergarteners, 1st Graders, and 2nd Graders looked fantastic in their costumes. We hope all the moms and dads, grandmas and grandpas enjoyed seeing the little ones as they paraded around the school.
Halloween Carline - As always, a special thanks to our Halloween Carline Dads and Staff for continuing the yearly costume celebration for all the kids in the carline. This year's Toy Story theme was a huge hit with all the kids (and parents)!! Special thanks to Laura and Joe Gnorski, Jomy Vadakumpadam, Tom Grotts, Topher Garcia, Jordan Kerger, Kevin Jones, Matt Noel, Jake Hoerner, Lisa Los, Jim Wolf, and Joe Fekech for participating.
Blessing for 8th Graders - There will be a special Blessing for all the 8th Graders at the Masses this weekend. Our Priests will bless all the 8th graders from SMPS and the RE Program and ask for all the parishioners to show their prayerful support for these students as they grow closer to God while continuing on their Confirmation journey this year.
NO AM/PM BUS SERVICE - Reminder there will be no bus service on Friday, November 7th next week. Please make sure your kids know how they will be getting home that day…car or walker!
We hope everyone has a fun and safe evening of trick-or-treating! Please remember to stay with your group, watch for cars, and use sidewalks or crosswalks whenever possible. Have a great time collecting treats and making memories!
Make it a great day, Lancers!

10/30/2025
Dear Current St. Michael Families,
Although it is only the end of October, we are preparing for 2026-2027. As a returning family, we look forward to welcoming you back next year! A spot has already been reserved for your returning Lancer. However, application season is upon us, and our Application for new students opens Saturday, November 1. This email contains registration "to dos" if:
you are enrolling an additional child next year (for Preschool, Kindergarten, or any grade), and/or
you have a new or returning student in Preschool or Kindergarten and need to let us know your preference between the options offered.
Please read below for requirements for Current Families due at this time (if any), and complete whichever set(s) of steps applies to your family. Thank you!
If you have a NEW student to enroll for next year you must open a NEW application AND complete the P/K Preference Form (2 steps):
Application Opens on 11/1/2025: Enter your NEW student through this FACTS application. The system will “recognize” your login and current student(s) because you already have an account. After you log in and go under “Application,” it will give you a button at the bottom of the page to click labeled “Create a New Student Application.” You only need to add your NEW student, since your current student is already in the FACTS system. [Due by December 15 at the latest so we can guarantee space for your new Lancer.]
P/K Preference Form Is Open Now: If your NEW student is entering Preschool or Kindergarten, please also fill out this P/K Preference Form [due by December 15 at the latest to guarantee preference]. If your NEW student is not entering P or K, please skip this step.
If you have a RETURNING student who will be a Preschooler or Kindergartener next year:
Please fill out this P/K Preference Form for each 2026-2027 Preschool or Kindergarten student [due by December 15 at the latest].
If you have NO new students and NO Preschooler or Kindergartener for 2026-2027, and your returning student(s) is in Grades 1-8* there are no requirements at this time. Your ‘26-’27 1st-8th grader is automatically added to next year’s class lists. *Coming in Feb 2026, we will have all families complete the FACTS Enrollment Packet online for all NEW & RETURNING students. This is the packet that requests forms, documents, tuition preferences, etc.
Please know that currently enrolled families have priority for enrollment through December 15th. This means:
Current Families’ preferences and “new student” application entries will be prioritized before any “New Family” applications are processed (guaranteed only until Dec. 15…so please, please let us know of any new family members enrolling and your P/K preferences by that deadline, after which we may not be able to accommodate).
A spot for your current St. Michael student(s) is already “held” for next year. No action needed. The only exception would be if you do not intend to have your student return to St. Michael, then please contact Mr. Ferguson to let him know.
We look forward to another great year! If you have questions about re-enrollment, please email or call me (630-462-5009).
Thank you!
