Dear Lancer Families,
What a joyful and faith-filled week here at St. Michael Parish School!
Today we were honored to host our Annual Senior Valentine’s Day Party for the seniors in our community. Our 7th graders did an outstanding job hosting this special event, serving treats, leading Bingo, and welcoming our guests with kindness and enthusiasm. The celebration also included beautiful entertainment from our SHINE Show Choir, who truly brightened the afternoon.
This event was a true schoolwide effort. Students in every grade helped prepare by decorating gift bags, placemats, prayer cards, and centerpieces. It was heartwarming to see our students live out our Catholic values by serving others with love and joy.
Lenten Season - Next week, we begin the sacred season of Lent. We will celebrate Ash Wednesday with an All School Mass on Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. As we enter into this Lenten season, we prepare our hearts for the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ and reflect on how we are called to grow closer to Him. Throughout Lent, we will also gather every Friday at 1:15 p.m. for Stations of the Cross. All are welcome to join us in prayer. Reminder, please enter through Doors 12/13 by the St. Michael Statue.
Executive Functioning Workshop - The Nurturing Wisdom Tutoring team will lead an interactive session focused on executive functioning skills and strategies, including organization, time management, and effective study habits. These are essential skills for a successful transition to high school. This workshop will be offered to 7th and 8th Graders and their parents. See Mr. Fekech’s email for more details.
